The addition will consist of a new gymnasium and administration office. Full barrier-free access will be provided to the entire school. Renovations of the existing gynmasium will accommodate the new Library Resource Centre.

The addition of a two-storey classroom and gymnasium wing will eventually link with the existing Allan Greenleaf Elementary School. The conversion of Allan Greenleaf will be second phase of WHS expansion.
