CITYPLACES BUILDING In response to the growing need for downtown housing, the City of Hamilton initiated the construction of this mixed-use development located at King William and Walnut Streets. This four-storey building has a total of 37 residential one and two bedroom units. Three units were designed to be fully barrier-free accessible. Three commercial units are located on the ground floor, with the office of Graff Architect occupying two of these commercial units. Traditional architectural features help emphasis the urban characteristics of the City Center Core. |

SENIORS APARTMENT BUILDING This four storey Seniors Apartment Building was constructed for Hamilton Non-Profit Housing under the Ministry of Housing Funding Program in 1995. The building is comprised of one and two bedroom units that are fully air-conditioned. A portion of the ground floor contains a community room, meeting rooms, laundry facilities and activity areas. The exterior common patio provides the tenants with a barbecue area overlooking the individual gardening plots. The building colours and forms reflect the dominant residential vernacular of the surrounding buildings. |

VILLA VERDI APARTMENT BUILDING This nine storey 57-unit Non-Profit Housing project located in downtown Hamilton comprised of one, two and three bedroom apartments. Twenty-four units were design as barrier-free type suites for severely handicapped tenants of the March of Dimes. This project was the recipient of the 1990 March of Dimes Barrier-free Design Award.

RONALD McDONALD HOUSE Located at Main Street and Cootes Drive, the three-storey Ronald McDonald House was a challenge to design. The house is intended to accommodate the families of children in need of long-term medical treatment, and the design called for an architecture that avoided an institutional look and maintained the idea of a home away from home. The house comprises 15 bedrooms, common areas such as great-room, kitchen and a dining; area all located on the ground floor. Fifteen local interior designers volunteered their services to decorate each bedroom suite in the house. |

TUCK FOREST CONDOMINIUM The development comprised of 123 three storey units on a 6.127 acre (2.479hc) site located off Upper Middle Road in Burlington. Three distinct models were positioned at various locations throughout the site. Each block represented a particular model design. Each block had its own exterior finishes and architectural characteristics, although the interior floor layouts were similar. |

CENTRE D'ACCUEIL FRANCOPHONE SENIORS APARTMENT & COMMUNITY CENTRE Proposed as a Life Lease Apartment this project provided fifty-two residential suites comprising of one and two bedroom layouts. Incorporated into the concept was a 500 m² Community Centre located on the ground floor. |

LAKEVIEW RETIREMENT CENTRE Designed as a complimentary program to the existing Clarion Nursing Home, the Retirement Centre includes 51 apartment units, dining room, lounge and other amenities. The majority of units are bachelor type suites with a small percentage being one bedroom. The entire building above grade was constructed of wood members. The mechanical roof top units are concealed behind the mansard roof profiles. |
